Students’ Union plays a crucial role in an institution of higher education. The Student’s Union functions as the representative body through which issues relating to their welfare are raised and addressed. It provides the students with a common forum to express their views and suggestions and get them across to the faculty and to the College administration for necessary action. All students registered in the college are members of the students’ Union and may have the opportunity of serving as its office bearers. The students’ Union at SLC functions under the guidance and supervision of the students’ Union Advisory Committee. The Union offers students a chance to experience what it means to work in a cordial and cooperative way, for the larger welfare of the students’ community. The students’ Union organizes the college Annual Festival of cultural activities covering events such as Dance, Music, Rangoli, Fashion Show, etc.
